How we use AI

Artificial intelligence (AI) is part of LinkPilot. We use AI to automatically assess public comments on LinkedIn and to support clients in following up on them. AI is used both internally, to support our own work, and as part of the services we deliver to clients.

We see AI as a tool that can strengthen human knowledge, creativity and expertise. Using AI does not mean that human judgement and responsibility disappear. We remain responsible for the choices we make and for the quality of the services and results we deliver to our clients.

What do we use AI for?

Within LinkPilot and to support our own work, AI may be used for, among other things:

• assessing public comments under a LinkedIn post, to determine whether a comment is likely to be a request for a freebie;
• starting an automatic follow-up on the basis of that assessment, within the automation you have set up;
• analyzing and structuring information;
• automating work and making it more efficient;
• supporting our own work, including drafting and improving texts for our website, our emails and our support.

Within LinkPilot, the AI assessment only determines whether a follow-up step is carried out within the automation you have set up. You determine the target audience, the settings and the texts yourself, and you can intervene or exclude people within the service. When the AI assessment is not available nothing happens.

The AI tools we use

For our work we use various AI tools and software services. For the AI assessment within LinkPilot we use Anthropic via the API, with the Claude Haiku 4.5 model. To support our own work we also use Claude by Anthropic and ChatGPT by OpenAI.

In addition, we use various software services in which AI functionality is available as an additional feature, including Crisp, the support chat on our website. With these services AI is not the core function of the software, but AI can be part of certain features or workflows.

The tools we use may change in the future. We may replace existing tools, add new tools or stop using certain AI functionality when this better suits our services, security requirements or privacy obligations.

Careful handling of personal data and confidential information

We consider it important to handle personal data and confidential information with care.

We deliberately do not enter confidential client information or sensitive personal data into tools or AI systems. Where information from our services is used as input for work carried out with the help of AI, we remove personal data and confidential information where necessary, or make that information anonymous or unrecognisable as far as possible. When using AI we do not process more personal data than is necessary for the relevant purpose.

An exception may apply to the AI assessment within LinkPilot: the text of a public comment, and the text of the post under which that comment was placed, may contain personal data. For this assessment, the text of the public comment is provided to Anthropic. As context for the assessment, the name of the freebie and the text of the LinkedIn post under which the comment was placed may also be sent along. The name, profile picture, LinkedIn profile ID and other data about the person commenting are not sent to the AI for this assessment. The data is not used by Anthropic to train the models.

AI and human oversight

AI supports our work, but does not take over our responsibility. AI output may contain errors, omissions or incorrect interpretations. That is why we review AI output where appropriate and necessary, and remain responsible for how it is ultimately applied within our services.

For work where accuracy, context or human judgement matters, we use our own knowledge and expertise to assess, check and where necessary improve AI output.

The AI assessment within LinkPilot does not by itself lead to a decision with legal effects or a similarly significant effect for the data subject, and is not used to assess people legally or in a similarly significant way.

For us AI is a tool to work better and more efficiently, not a replacement for human expertise, creativity and responsibility.

Privacy and personal data

When using AI we handle personal data and confidential information with care. We deliberately do not enter confidential client information or sensitive personal data into ChatGPT or Claude. With the AI assessment within LinkPilot, the text of a public comment and the text of the post under which that comment was placed may contain personal data; those texts are provided to Anthropic.

We consider it important to be transparent about the use of AI. AI is part of the way we work and can also be part of the services and results we deliver to clients.

Our view on AI

We believe AI is most valuable when technology and human expertise strengthen each other. AI can help to work faster, develop new ideas and set up processes more intelligently. At the same time, human creativity, critical thinking, knowledge of the context and responsibility remain essential.

We continue to follow developments around AI and adjust our way of working where necessary, so that we use AI in a careful, responsible and valuable way for ourselves and for our clients.

Changes

This AI statement was drawn up on 2 August 2026 and adapted to the services of LinkPilot on 20 August 2026. We may adjust this statement from time to time, for example if our way of working changes, if we start using new AI applications or if laws and regulations require it. The most recent version of this AI statement always applies and can be found on our website.
